Bureau du Champagne Deutschland

The Bureau du Champagne represents the interests of the Comité Champagne in Germany and Austria. Via their own trade organisations Champagne producers (vignerons) and Champagne Houses are organized as Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC), which co-ordinates their common interests. Among its key duties are the promotion and protection of the Champagne appellation around the world. The Bureau du Champagne is charged with: Public relations, Media relations, Training and qualification for wine professionnals, Protecting the Champagne appellation in cooperation with legal advisers in Germany and Austria.
