Arkema’s activities are organized into three business segments, Vinyl Products, Industrial Chemicals, and Performance Products, comprising 13 business units structured into profit centers, in charge of plant management, research, marketing, and customer relations.

Central divisions oversee know-how, coordination, control and overall consolidation, in particular in finance, human resources, communication, procurement, logistics, safety, environmental protection, process expertise, and information technology.

Geographic subsidiaries operate in every region of the world in which Arkema is present, as relays of corporate core functions, and passing their knowledge of local issues on to the business units.
