AR Metallizing N.V.

AR Metallizing is a newly created group, following the merger of two leaders in the area of vacuum metallization: Alupa and Rotoflex. The group is serving beverage, packaging, food, and tobacco industries with its highly specialized range of vacuum metallized paper qualities. It also is rapidly developing in coating and metallizing of other, technical specialty materials.

The merger of Alupa and Rotoflex into AR Metallizing, has shaped an undisputed leader in terms of size, technology, capabilities and geographical reach. The approximately 80 million Euro turnover company is owned by the Belgian holding Ackermans & van Haaren (www.avh.be), which gives a solid support to realize its ambition to further shape the metallizing industry.

In its two production sites in Genk (Belgium) and Casalgrasso (Northern Italy), AR Metallizing has the capacity to produce over 35,000 tons of metallized paper, on top of its range of specialty products. ARM thrives on a group of 220 highly committed and passionate people, combining the know-how, which has made metallized paper what it is today.

Both reputed since the early nineties, Alupa and Rotoflex have prospered to the quality reference for metallized paper, thanks to a continuous investment in people, technology, quality and environmental protection. By joining forces, and by conducting a structured integration process, the new group is pushing its expertise to new levels. As such, AR Metallizing aspires to further flourish and be a trustworthy partner for clients on five continents, who rely on the group for the most demanding service levels.
