The three founders of HELGA were very enthusiastic about the VOX success show "The Lion's Cave". Dr. Anneliese Niederl-Schmidinger, working on the development of technologies for the cultivation of microalgae, recognised how many unsaturated fatty acids and high-quality proteins are found in these organisms. Together with her colleague Renate Steger and her friend Ute Petritsch, she then developed a concept to bring the impressive "Superfood" to the market in a manner suitable for mass production - the birth of HELGA. An ideal drink for all sporty active and health-conscious people - simply strong as a lion!
