About Gaisbergwasser
Our water springs from an underground spring on the east side of the Gaisberg, the local mountain of the Salzburgers, at about 860m above sea level. The Gaisberg is a mountain of power, which our ancestors in mythical times already recognised and appreciated as a source of spirit and spirituality. The spring borehole reaches a depth of about 60 metres.
"Memories of a pleasant summer rain - bottled in a small production with craftsmanship. Balanced mineralisation and a neutral pH result in a round and silky feel on the palate with a concentrated finish. Excellent as a food accompaniment, but also for wine or beer tasting."
We are a "manufactory" because we do not have the facilities of large manufacturers and therefore bottle our water on a mobile basis - in compliance with the highest hygiene criteria.
It was clear to us that our water costs more than that of industrial producers who often have it transported many hundreds of kilometres to Salzburg, and the decision to market "Gaisbergwasser" was not an easy one from an entrepreneurial point of view.
On the other hand, we are convinced of the honesty, quality, regionality and sustainability of our water. We bottle our "Gaisbergwasser" in limited quantities and are also certified by the "Salzburger Land Zertifikat". This guarantees that our product comes purely from Salzburg and not from large-scale industrial production.
We have had the quality of the "Gaisbergwasser" tested by two independent institutes. It is spring water that is also ideally suited for feeding babies due to its low sodium, nitrite and nitrate values (sodium, nitrite and nitrate values are significantly below the legal requirements). Its pH value of 7.73 can contribute to a balanced acid-base balance.
