Bioferme Oy

Bioferme Ltd. is a family owned company set up in 1977. It is based in Kaarina (Finland) where it develops, manufactures and markets a range of high quality plant-based food products and organic products for healthy living. All Bioferme products are dairy- free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

The company acquires natural ingredients from controlled contract farmers and processors. The aim in all production processes is to preserve the naturalness of the ingredients, apply minimal processing and ensure traceability throughout the whole value adding chain from farm to fork.

We actively conduct research and product development together with universities and research institutes in order to respond to future needs of the modern, health-conscious consumer. Our research focuses on bifidobacteria and weight management.

The flagship brand of Bioferme is Yosa, a probiotic oat-based product with a texture similar to yoghurt. Yosa is accompanied by a new product range called Soyosa soy-oat based products and drinks. The Isoäidin product range includes a variety of organic sauerkraut and pickled cucumbers, juices and spiced wine (glögg).
