One Banana, the Better Banana Company, is a third generation, family owned sustainable producer of the highest quality conventional and organic bananas as well as banana ingredients such as puree, flour and flakes. In business now for over 60 years, One is vertically integrated which gives greater transparency and efficiency throughout the supply chain and allows our customers to do business directly with the grower. We ship to premium retailers globally including the United States, the UK, Germany, Poland, China and Japan. In order to diversify risk and guarantee year-round availability, One Banana has farms in Guatemala, Ecuador and Peru. Our farms are certified to the highest third-party standards such as Rainforest Alliance, SCS, USDA Organic, Fairtrade, Global GAP, BASC and CTPAT.

One is committed not only to the environment and sustainable production, but to our employees and improving the communities where we operate as well. We partner with the University of Colorado to operate the Human Development Center in rural Guatemala which provides high quality, low cost medical care to our employees and the community. One believes in paying our employees more than the minimum wage or even the living wage in the areas we operate. Our rate of pay exceeds the living wage by over 17% and the minimum wage in Guatemala by over 60%.
