About Domaine Skouras
Domaine Skouras was established in 1986 in the Peloponnese, by Dijon-trained oenologist George Skouras. Over the past thirty years, Domaine Skouras has created a disciplined and innovative wine-producing potential. Our Domaine is located in the appellation zone Nemea. We are producing delectable wines, creating pioneering blends and inspired bottlings, vinifying indigenous and international varieties, sharing unforgettable and rare wines. The philosophy permeating all of the Skouras's wines is reflected in the words: – purity, varietal clarity-tracing of the region's mesoclimate–terroir imprintation. Domaine Skouras cultivates the indigenous varieties grown in Argolida, Corinthia, Mantinia and Nemea, which are Roditis-Alepou, Moscofilero, Malagouzia, Agiorghitiko and most recently, Mavrostifo of Argos, an old and rare variety of the region. In addition, international varieties are also cultivated, such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. Today Domaine Skouras is at the forefront of Greek estates, full of momentum and with a sharp focus on its future. Demand for its terroir-driven and estate-bottled wines is consistent both in Greece and around the world. For what makes these wines so popular is the fact that Skouras does not compromise quality or craftsmanship. In fact, there is always something better, something different, with each and every vintage, for each and every product.
