Describing the history of a company and of its home territory, which to be precise, is the Sicilian territory, linked to wine production, is an extremely complex task. It is undeniable that over time the quality of the sun, the earth and the sea, all connotative elements of the Sicilian territory, have contributed to determine our cultural matrix. Our "territory", which we perceive as a complexity of significant elements that can reconcile material and tangible aspects such as "the land" with other aspects of an ideal and changing nature such as culture, history, traditions, customs, attitudes and values of individuals has, instead, determined our character and personality. Thus, 12 chiavi embodies the full expression of the Sicilian territory, but it is also, and especially, never a rhetorical interpretation of the wine culture. Whilst preserving the "knowledgeable art of winemaking", 12 chiavi is able to satisfy the pleasure of drinking in those who have long focused their choices in the contemporary world towards a mindful way of life, based on the continuous search for authenticity, attention and care for oneself and one's time.
