Aeros

The Aeros from HunterLab is a colorimeter for non-contact spectral colour measurement of large, irregularly shaped samples such as bulk goods, snack food, nuts, crisps, confectionery, powder in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, building materials, stone, lime, roofing materials, cereals, cornflakes, oat flakes, etc.

It simulates human color perception in accordance with the CIE standard valence system in a matter of seconds in an absolutely reliable, safe and reproducible manner. This makes Aeros the ideal partner in quality assurance.

Thanks to its robust design, the colorimeter is particularly suitable for everyday production and demanding environments in the food industry. It has an integrated laser distance sensor. If a sample is of different heights, the sensor automatically compensates for this by adjusting the distance.

At the touch of a button, the sample tray automatically rotates under the sensor. Up to 177.25 cm2 of sample is measured in 7 seconds with 35 measurements, directly on the surface, without having to measure through plastic or glass.

Simple sample handling with comprehensive QC software make the Aeros an all-round talent in the laboratory.
