ViscoTec produces dosing systems and dosing components for semi or fully automatic production lines and assembly processes. From precise micro dispensing, in the microliter range, to speed-proportional bead dosing, from potting applications, two-component mixing applications or from high precise filling under highest hygienic requirements for the pharma industry to liquid preparation and barrel emptying of semi-solid pastes: ViscoTec products cover a wide range of applications.
All dosing and filling units of the company are based on the endless piston principle which belongs to the group of rotary positive displacement pumps. The functionality is comparable to an endless piston that feeds the product from the suction side to the pressure side and builds up a pressure difference in doing so. The core element of each application is a volumetric dispensing pump. The interaction of an eccentrically moving rotor into a corresponding stator results into a similar flow and dosing characteristics of an endless moving piston.
ViscoTec products are mostly used with adhesives, paints, soldering pastes, sealants, in medical technology, cosmetics (mascara, vaseline, perfume and others) or in the food sector (e. g. sauce filling with aroma concentrates). The technology focus lies on dosing (1K/2K), applying, filling and material treatment like degassing or barrel emptying of several different products. The company core competence is the processing of highly viscous, solid containing, abrasive or shear-sensitive liquids or pastes. All fluids showing a viscosity of up to 7.000.000 mPas can be conveyed and dosed almost pulsation-free and with extremely low shear force. ViscoTec offers technically advanced solutions, available as standard products or as part of a modular design. In addition the company creates solutions for the most challenging, customer-specific applications and is the single point of contact to deliver all components for a complete system: from emptying to preparing and to dosing. This guarantees a successful interaction of all components. To control the special requirements of each application, ViscoTec performs, for example, excellent tests in its own laboratory, in close cooperation with the customers.
