The company was founded in 1989 by Uwe Jessen and focused in the first years on solutions for delicate particulate measuring problems in cleanrooms, production tools and ultrapure media.The state-of-the-art particle counters were sold to the semiconductor-, data storage-, chemical suplpy and other high technology driven markets.
