About Netzsch
As a company specializing in ultra-fine grinding and classifying, NETZSCH Trockenmahltechnik GmbH offers extensive experience and a very varied machine program ranging from laboratory and production machines to complete manufacturing lines. NETZSCH´s fine-impact mills, classifying- and jet mills as well as fine-cutting mills and high-efficiency finest classifiers are mainly used in the application areas chemistry, inorganic substances/minerals, ceramic materials and also in the field of Life Science for pharmaceutical- and food-applications.
The CONDUX® fine-impact mill was developed in 2012 on the basis of the well-known CUM universal mill. It distinguishes itself through a modular design concept. Following this concept, NETZSCH renounces the integration of unused features from the outset, thus offering truly customized solutions and reaching a new level of cost efficiency. Additionally, a frequently made customer’s wish from the past was met by extending the range of machinery sizes in the smaller scale classes.
Another highlight in the NETZSCH Trockenmahltechnik GmbH portfolio remains what was referred to in 2009 as “a quantum leap in finest grinding”, for precise dry grinding by means of overheated steam – the s-JET® jet mill system. It is the very first and only true dry grinding system on the market to achieve precise grinding fines in the submicron- and nano-scale range.
Furthermore, the product range includes different types of innovative dry mills of the renowned CGS, CONJET® and CSM series, the SECOMY® fine cutting mills as well as the high-efficiency classifier types CFS and INLINESTAR. All systems are available in various sizes.
NETZSCH Trockenmahltechnik´s administration- and sales departments are located in its headquarters in Hanau, Germany as well as one of the most modern application lab centers in which grinding- and classifying technologies are available for carrying out tests with customers´ products. The lab center was expanded in 2015 to include a FOODLAB to carry out tests compliant with food processing regulations.
There are two new test rooms in the FOODLAB. Testing in each can be observed from a meeting room through a large glass panel and access to each test room from the meeting room for visitors and employees is only possible via a hygiene sluice. In addition to this, there is a special measuring technology room equipped with all standard laboratory measuring equipment.
In the smaller test room a laboratory plant with NETZSCH Fluidized Bed Jet Mill type CGS (with interchangeable High Density Bed Jet Mill CONJET® or standard classifier CFS modules) is installed for basic feasibility analyses for finest applications.
In the larger test room a pilot plant for dry-grinding equipped with an Impact Mill of type CONDUX® (with interchangeable Classifier Mill CSM module) is installed. As well as the pilot plant, an Impact Mill of type CONDUX® for grinding sugar in a compact execution is also installed in this room. All test machines in this test room are ATEX compliant with an inner zone 20. At the product inlet and discharge zone 21 is specified. All product contacting parts are in 1.4401 or in a material of an even higher quality and there surfaces are Ra < 0.8 µm polished. The processing air for the grinding plant is taken from outside via a suction filter and heat exchanger. With this equipment it is possible to cool the air, to separate out water and if required the grinding air temperature can be regulated after drying.
NETZSCH Trockenmahltechnik GmbH is part of the business unit Grinding & Dispersing which belongs to the NETZSCH-Group. A combination of many years of experience, daily contact with customers and the consequent and continuous development of products which has resulted in more than 100 patents ensures a technical competence and demonstrates our quality consciousness. Being an integral part of the NETZSCH-group is a guarantee for efficient worldwide sales- and service networks and rapid and reliable service for our customers.
