About Herold & Co.
Herold & Co. GmbH was founded in 1867 in the heart of Upper Franconia. For decades we've supplied international companies with top quality machine parts, and our equipment for mechanical machining meets tough standards. In our foundry—besides conventional machines—we are also equipped with an automatic molding machine, which guarantees top-quality castings.
We also have our own product line. We developed and patented a successful line of special rotary lobe pumps called Wendelkolben® Pumps. During the past several years, these pulsation-free pumps have proven to be highly successful in a variety of industries, such as sugar, food and chemical.
Our Multi-Cut-Wolf—a shredder with outstanding features for cutting—slicing and mincing organic material—was specially designed for the Herold high performance anaerobic digesters. They need only a fraction of time compared to ordinary biogas-digesters and are ideal for the pretreatment of wastewater, sludge and liquid manure.
