North American Breweries, headquartered in Rochester, New York was formed in 2009 and is owned by Florida Ice & Farm Co. NAB owns and operates four U.S. breweries and four retail locations in New York, Vermont, Oregon and Washington.
The Genesee Brewery, based in Rochester, New York, makes and sells the historic line of Genesee beers, Dundee Ales & Lagers, the Original Honey Brown Lager and Seagram's Escapes. The Washington and Oregon breweries handcraft Pyramid beer, including its famous Hefeweizen, Apricot Ale and Thunderhead I.P.A. Magic Hat is headquartered in Vermont and makes and sells a variety of craft beers including the popular #9. It also regularly features seasonal beers in its rotating series of Variety Packs.
Portland, Oregon is home to more breweries than any other city in the U.S. Portland Brewing Company was one of the first craft breweries in the city and created Portland's original amber beer, MacTarnahan's Amber Ale. The brewery makes and sells a variety of craft beers.
North American Breweries also owns exclusive rights to import and market Labatt Blue and the Labatt family of beers, and the Imperial brand of beer in the U.S. The Labatt USA products include the flagship pilsner Labatt Blue, as well as Labatt Blue Light, Labatt Blue Light Lime, Labatt Ice, Labatt Max Ice, Labatt Heritage Series, Labatt 50, Labatt Select and Labatt Blue Non-Alcoholic. First brewed in 1951, Labatt Blue offers a clean, refreshing taste, light color, slight hop aroma, good balance, fruity character, and a slight sweet taste.
Along with its own brands, North American Breweries contract brews dozens of beers and malt beverages for other companies.
