Mice force IKEA to recall marshmallow sweets in Germany
IKEA has recalled its marshmallow sweets, Godis Paskkyckling, in Germany, fearing they were contaminated by mice that overran a production facility.
IKEA Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG/Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
The company said on Friday in the state of Hesse that all 100-gram packs of the sweets with a best-before date between October 23, 2018, and January 26, 2019, were being recalled.
Customers could return the sweets, even without a receipt, at any IKEA store, the company said.
IKEA called it a precautionary measure, saying food safety was a top priority for the company. (dpa)
