E-substance-free formulation and more stability
Until now, Spoonies' formulation included e-substances, which were mainly used for stability. But Spoontainable is now saying goodbye to these. Instead, the startup now uses raw cane sugar, which is partially refined and has a significantly higher mineral and vitamin content than refined sugar. The recipe of the Spoonie choc will be adapted from summer 2021. The new product line "Spoontainable's Eiszauber", which allows consumers to mix their own ice cream at home, also contains no e-substances compared to conventional ice cream mixtures. A constant further development and adaptation of the products are essential for the founders in order to fulfill the wishes of the customers and to meet the needs of the market. For this reason, there will be more new sustainable plastic alternatives in the portfolio of the startup in the coming weeks.
