The forum. ernährung heute (f.eh) is an Austrian competence centre for nutrition, health and lifestyle based in Vienna. It was founded in 1991 to contribute to better information in the nutrition discussion as a scientifically based communication platform and to educate in a generally understandable way. It is supported by its scientific advisory board, in which representatives of various relevant disciplines work together. As a firmly anchored dialogue partner in the nutritional science community, f.eh fulfils its role by contributing to the scientific discourse. The f.eh works with a wide range of stakeholders involved in the nutrition debate, such as ministries, authorities, associations and food companies. The f.eh aligns its activities in prevention and health promotion with an image of man that assumes enlightened and responsible consumers who make their decisions on the basis of valid knowledge and pursue a self-responsible and self-determined lifestyle and diet. The f.eh is mainly oriented towards Austria, but is nevertheless embedded at European level and globally via associations and companies.
