Mex-Al GmbH

MEX-AL GmbH is a family business based in Aachen with a branch in Forchheim. We specialize in the import, production and distribution of products for Mexican gastronomy. We supply our products to wholesalers throughout Europe and to private customers in Germany. We sell our products locally and via our online store. We also offer our own brands and authentic Mexican products via special deliveries and advice for the food service industry.

Import

For more than 25 years, we have been importing a wide range of products, including chilies, sauces, wine, tequila and decorative items. Our unique selling point is that we not only import Mexican products, but also produce them ourselves.

Convenience Food

We have been producing traditional Mexican frozen products such as tacos, quesadillas, tamales, various salsas and Tex-Mex specialties such as chilli con carne, chilli sin carne and burritos at our plant in Aachen since 1995. Our range also includes many other ethnic finger food products. These are intended for the catering and wholesale trade as well as for private customers. Our products are based on authentic Mexican recipes, which we are happy to adapt to the needs of our catering and wholesale customers.

Tortilla production

We started producing corn tortillas in 2005. Due to the increasing demand for GMO-free food, we now use 100% GMO-free flours and do not use any preservatives at all. We can produce corn tortillas according to the individual wishes of our catering and wholesale customers under the MEX-AL label or as a private label.
