We started out as two separate ice cream businesses – Richmond Foods in the UK and Roncadin in Germany. In 2006 we joined forces, became R&R Ice Cream and so began our extraordinary journey which has seen us quickly become Europe’s largest private label manufacturer of ice creams and lollies.

What is the secret behind our rapid expansion which has created such a successful pan-European business? We believe it is a combination of having skilled and dedicated employees, state-of-the-art production facilities and a total commitment to exceed our customer expectations. We now employ over 3,500 people across the R&R Group which has its headquarters in the UK at Leeming Bar. We also have three UK manufacturing sites – Leeming Bar, Skelmersdale and Bodmin – as well as factories on mainland Europe at Osnabrϋck in Germany; Plouéderne, Vayres and Dangé St Romain in France; Terni in Italy and Mielic in Poland.

With an unrivalled focus on product innovation and quality, R&R produces a wide range of delicious own label products for the leading supermarkets. In addition, we are also home to some of Europe’s best-known brands such as Nestlé, Mondelēz, Oasis, Disney, Pilpa, Kelly’s and Zielona Budka.
