About Indaco S.p.A
Indaco S.p.A. is a major company that works in the confectionery market. The company was established in 1999 and has been active since the year 2000 thanks to the initiative of the
Cola family, owners of Amarischia S.p.A. a company that has been producing fine liqueurs and high quality sugar coated almonds since 1969.
Amarischia’s tradition of excellence is accompanied by the substantial experience in the confectionery market provided by our cutting edge manufacturing plant located in Caivano. This facility, now owned by Indaco S.p.A., was established in 1979 by ALIVAR, a state-controlled company which at the time owned the Motta, Alemagna, Pavesi and Pai brands. This was the birthplace of the very well known ‘Charms’, ‘Sanagola’ and ‘Peppermint’ candies, the best selling OTC sweets on the Italian market.
In recent years Indaco S.p.A. has carried out substantial investments in the Caivano facility, which is now capable of manufacturing the following products: chewing gum, hard candies, filled candies, gummy candies, jelly sweets, chocolate coated products and flavoured candy buttons.
Today most of these products are sugar-free and/or with added vitamins and minerals thanks to the ministerial authorisation covering the manufacture of 'dietary' products.
The expertise and professionalism offered by the facility draws in major companies working in the food and confectionery market (Nestlè, Haribo, Leaf-Sperlari and others) and in the pharmaceutical market (Novartis) for famous brand productions. Such is the reward for years of dedicated work and for our substantial investments in quality, R&D and technological innovation.
