The mineral springs on the northern slopes of the Taunus mountains were discovered in the Bronze Age. The carbonated springs are grouped around the town of Selters, in the floodplain of the river Lahn between Biskirchen and Löhnberg. It lies in a depression known as the Löhnberg Basin and is the place where the famous Selters brand originates. For thousands of years, far below the idyllic floodplains, the earth has kept its valuable treasure – a mineral water of the highest quality, pristine purity and unmistakable taste.
