Our philosophy - No more canned food for babies -

In the first year of life your baby goes through a rapid development - it learns to see, crawl, walk, swallow and usually also its first words. It is clear that it needs a lot of energy for this. From around the 5th month, the milk meal alone is no longer sufficient to provide this energy. This is when baby food comes into play - it gives your baby additional energy and lots of vitamins. Conventional baby jars are preserved by heating. This destroys many vitamins and fibers. That's why we flash freeze our baby food products - a gentle process that not only preserves vitamins and fiber, but also the taste, color and consistency of the paps. We are convinced that a nutrient-rich diet is very important for a baby's development in the 1st year of life. Based on this conviction, we would like to make it as easy as possible for you to feed your child healthily right from the start!

Our products are made from 100% organic ingredients and contain no artificial additives, harmful substances, sugar, salt, spices or binders. All our products have also been developed together with the Research Institute for Child Nutrition in Dortmund (FKE e.V.) and contain sufficient nutritional values for the development of an infant according to the reference values of the German Nutrition Society. We, that is Josephine and Jana, have been so-called "Wahl-Berliners" for a few years now. We are not yet mothers ourselves, but we have some young parents in our circle of friends. Life changes with a child from one day to the next and so do the topics of conversation in our circle of friends. What we quickly noticed: Children make us happy, but they bring a lot of work with them. We often heard conversations about complementary feeding and skepticism was almost always expressed about the conventional baby jars - even though they are so practical and time-saving. However, a healthier, practical alternative to cooking your own food does not yet exist.

So the idea of bringing frozen baby food onto the German market was quickly born. We want to help parents - even if they don't have time to cook their own baby food every day - to feed their child nutritious food with a clear conscience. So Nuri was founded in March 2016.
