Moin, we welcome you warmly. We are Hinrich and Lina. We both come from the country and the respectful treatment of animals has always been important to us. We are critical of the development of meat consumption and the establishment of organic labels. This site is therefore intended on the one hand as a marketplace for quality-conscious customers and farmers and on the other hand as a stimulus to rethink and reflect. Nowadays the price often determines the demand and not the origin, the production and the distribution of a food. This can be seen especially in the area of agricultural products. Quality meat is still compared with the prices of discounters. That must change! The fact is that keeping animals in appropriate conditions is time-consuming, costly and requires a great deal of patience and, above all, respect for the animal.

For this reason we want to support small, agricultural enterprises. We exclusively market high-quality Galloway meat from northern Germany. We select the farms according to our own standards and demands. Here the proximity and respect to the animals, the species-appropriate attitude and the additional feeding with natural products (e.g. silage, hay, straw, beet pulp) play an important role. Our farmers keep suckler cows in a herd, so the calves grow up in the company of their mother. Performance-enhancing supplementary feeding of concentrated feed, preventive antibiotics and growth hormones is dispensed with. However, all animals are naturally under veterinary and official supervision. Medicines are only administered in an emergency or for deworming. Our Galloway meat is guaranteed to be free of medication and hormones solely due to its ecological form of husbandry. It thus contributes to a health-conscious diet. This rearing is naturally time-consuming and the care of the herd takes place in close contact.

We consciously oppose the exclusive sale of organically certified meat such as Bioland, Demeter etc. and work closely with farmers who lovingly and passionately care for their animals, even without organic seals! For us "mass animal husbandry" is a foreign word! For our farmers too!
