The Pure Food Store was founded in 2016 by Eva and Jana, who met at their former employer's and quickly realised that they shared a love of healthy nutrition. In many conversations about the ideal office lunch and sugar-free alternatives to sweet afternoon snacks and bars, the first ideas for their own products emerged.

In the middle of the founding phase, Eva met Hannah, who was directly enthusiastic about the idea of the Pure Food Store. Both remained in constant contact and at the end of 2017 developed a first joint gluten-free bread mix with Jana for Hannah's 40-day "sugar-free" challenge, which was published in February 2018.

Our first joint product was a complete success, the response was incredibly good and our bread mix sold out in no time, so we could hardly keep up with the post-production! As a result, we quickly decided that Hannah would become part of the Pure Food Store team.
