proHops GmbH

We are brewers and brewing engineers of the company proBrau GmbH and have a lot to do internationally with "CraftBier" brewers, especially in the USA. In America, hops are often still hand-picked and sold on the spot market (buyers and sellers face each other directly). Through the close cooperation with many of our local customers, it first became clear to us that in our home country of Germany, planters and brewers no longer have direct access to each other.

The decisive factor for our project www.proHops.de was a request from a US-American customer for German hops. This enquiry aroused the curiosity of our Freising-born managing director Andreas, who first became aware of the sometimes difficult and intransparent practices of the hop suppliers. He immediately set off to teach his customers the hops they were looking for and found some very ambitious growers who live for their product and were willing to deliver quality directly.

After an initial successful transaction and a very happy brewer, we were able to win more customers and supply them with quality hops.

Through our platform www.proHops.de all German and international colleagues now have the opportunity to work with high-quality German hops from the first source.

We hope that together we will be able to better connect the brewer with the raw materials, strengthen the personal relationships of our business partners and build trust.
