How it all began... ...the friends (and brothers or cousins) Amos and Tobias Bucher as well as Julian Bletscher have been enthusiastic about Günter Faltins TEEKAMPAGNE for a long time - produce high-quality goods fairly and offer them cheaper than the competitors due to direct sales. Only which product should it be? In the summer of 2014, what can only be described as a happy coincidence in retrospect came about: Tobias, who had discovered his love for cashew nuts on holiday, put the trio on the right track. At the same time they got to know Okey Ugwu, who had come to Germany ten years earlier as a fugitive from Nigeria and had since graduated in electrical engineering. Okey's home region in Nigeria is widely known for its wealth of cashew trees. In autumn 2014 the decision was made: CASHEW4U UG was founded, preparations made and ideas developed. Next stop: Enugu State, Nigeria. Amos and Julian set up a cashew production together with Okey - out of nowhere, on the old farm of Okey's deceased parents. So things took their course ... Meanwhile more than 30 workers work in Nigeria in their own production, Cashew for You distributes several tons of West African cashew kernels per year and Mark Schwippert joined the team in Germany as reinforcement.
