There are many different types of seaweed. They grow in all seas of the world and are incredibly versatile. Only some of these algae can already be cultivated by humans in the sea. Two of these types of algae are the ones that excite us the most, and on top of that they have a particularly positive effect on humans and the environment.

In our products we work exclusively with algae that are native to Northern Europe and can be cultivated in the open coastal sea. Our algae stars are the Alaria esculenta (also known as winged kelp) and Himanthalia elongata.
