When the Corona crisis meant customers could hardly get to his food truck, he wanted to feed them at home instead. That was the birth of "Iss doch Wurscht" - the quick curry sausage snack in a jar.

Every year, approximately 800 million curry sausages are sold in canteens, snack bars, food trucks, etc. Since 2010, we have also contributed to this - to the satisfaction of our customers, who voted our Original Currywurst 2019 the best currywurst in NRW. From food truck to catering

From the food truck, a currywurst party service developed quite incidentally: through the food truck tour across NRW, more and more guests came up with the idea of offering our currywurst at their parties. However, they usually lacked enough space to accommodate the food truck. As a solution we developed our Currywurst in buffet form.

In 2020 came the next step: Due to the Corona Pandemic we could no longer stand with the foodtruck on street food festivals or private events. At the same time, however, we received a lot of requests from customers who wanted to know how they could get our currywurst even during these times. After a short consideration, the solution was clear to us and we developed the "Iss doch Wurscht" curry sausage in a jar.

Quickly different supermarkets were interested in our curry sausage snack in a jar and already within a few weeks we ended up in 25 REWE, trinkgut and EDEKA stores . This is how we managed to continue our business in the difficult pandemic period - and to provide our customers with a high-quality currywurst at home as well.
