Fruping, it's not a big corporation, it's us: Florian & Marcel. Two best friends who know each other from their school days in the Sauerland. In the meantime, we have moved to Cologne in the Rhineland, where we produce the best fruit toppings for you by hand.

Our startup story begins in our student days. While we were both working on our theses, we often turned to fast food and sweets due to lack of time. After we quickly understood that this food rather pulls us down instead of giving us the necessary energy, we more and more often switched to various fruits as a healthy snack for in between.

But here we encountered the following problem: Fruits always taste the same and you hardly have any options to make much out of them. An apple, for example, usually tastes quite similar, whether in a fruit salad or cut into small bites.

Then we remembered a spice that Florian had brought back from a trip to Mexico, where it is used for fruits, among other things. A thought that stuck with us: Why do people spice everything but fruit?

So we tasted and combined spices from all over the world in our shared kitchen to be able to offer you the perfect spice blend. That's how Fruping came into being.

We can't believe that we are now holding our first own spice blends in our hands. But we are far from reaching our goal! Together with you we want to become better. Therefore, we are always grateful for suggestions, criticism and ideas.
