Food Union is one of the largest dairy and ice cream producing companies in Europe.

Food Union unites major dairy and ice cream companies in Northern and Eastern Europe: Rīgas piena kombināts, Valmieras piens, Rīgas Piensaimnieks in Latvia, Premia in Estonia, Premier Is in Denmark, Isbjorn Is in Norway, Alpin57Lux in Romania, Hladokombinat No.1 in Russia and Ingman Ice cream in Belarus. Food Union also has representative offices in the Netherlands, Russia, Lithuania and China.

In 2015, Food Union became the first dairy producer in the Baltic States to start dairy and ice cream export to China. Currently Food Union sells its products in more than 20 countries, with the main markets being Latvia, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Iraq and China.

At the moment Food Union is: The leading milk processing company in Latvia. The largest ice cream manufacturer in the Baltics and Denmark. The leading food and beverage producer in Latvia. Food Union currently employs more than 2,500 people.
