About La Ciarliana

Cradled in the heart of the Tuscan hills in Montepulciano, La Ciarliana is owned by Luigi Frangiosa, who started the Vino Nobile wine production in 1996 thus fulfilling a lifelong dream, started with his grandfather 50 years earlier and inherited through his father Santo Pellegrino. La Ciarliana is named after an intimate and deeply suggestive chapel nestled in the vineyards surrounding our estate, whose bell tower also inspired our 21 hectares family run winery's logo. Our modern and recently restored wine cellar is made up of an underground production area for the winemaking and aging processes, a cosy intimate wine tasting-room and a welcoming wine room, opened on a panoramic terrace overlooking our vineyards and on a garden porch, where we are glad to welcome wine lovers and travellers wishing to taste our bottles and experience our wine activities.
