Sunbloom Proteins GmbH

Sunbloom Proteins GmbH, founded in 2017, is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging "IVV" in Freising, Germany. We use patented technology to extract functional plant proteins for food from sunflowers and market them under the name "Sunbloom Proteins" to the food industry worldwide.

Together with our shareholders (a.o. Zentis, Fraunhofer) we ensure professionalism of an established company with the agility and motivating work environment of a start-up.

With our production plant in Hungary, we supply and serve our customers within the value-added fast-growing market of plant-based solutions.
