The beginnings - pioneering work in laboratory digitization.

The story of WinLaisy began over 30 years ago. Electronic data processing was increasingly changing the world of work. In the industrial environment in particular, it quickly became clear that an increase in efficiency and throughput was not feasible with many manual, time-consuming processes. In the laboratory in particular, the omnipresent manual recording of analysis data and evaluations meant that the high costs could not be overlooked. It was precisely at this time that the "inventor" of WinLaisy, Siegfried Lösekann, met the requirements of the laboratories of DMK (Deutsches Milch Kontor, then still Nordmilch eG) at the right time with his technical understanding of IT and solved this problem with the newly designed LIMS. Over many years, WinLaisy has developed into a highly efficient laboratory software in close cooperation with various customers from the industry, always keeping pace with the growing possibilities and technologies and thus organizing laboratory work in the best possible way.

The next step - mastering integration into Industry 4.0 with inray.

When the time came to hand over his life's work, the WinLaisy software product was acquired by the software specialist "inray Industriesoftware GmbH". Siegfried Lösekann and inray had already worked hand in hand for many years on many joint projects with mutual customers. With the transition to inray's portfolio, a fundamental technical update and the expansion of system integration into industrial processes was driven forward. This made WinLaisy fit for Industry 4.0, which also expanded the customer base.

Full speed ahead - With new momentum and expertise on the way to Laboratory 4.0 for the dairy and process industry.

After many years of support from inray, it became increasingly clear that the topic of digitization was becoming more and more important and that the LIMS WinLaisy should therefore be given an even stronger and separate focus as a driver of digitization in the laboratory. This realization, together with the opportunity to gain a product manager from the customer industry with a great deal of expertise, led to the founding of In-QM Team GmbH. Since then, the newly founded QM team with its managing director Tim Hansen has had the sole focus on the WinLaisy product, thereby multiplying the speed of innovation and the further development of WinLaisy. With the new version 5 of Winlaisy, many groundbreaking innovations have already been incorporated into the product and many more exciting ones are already in the pipeline.

With the QM team, WinLaisy is in full swing towards the big goal of Laboratory 4.0!
