Change in the GEA Group Supervisory Board

 the wake of the successful completion of the sale of the Heat Exchangers Segment on October 31, 2014, Klaus Hunger, Chairman of the General Works Council of the former GEA Heat Exchangers Segment, retired from the GEA Group supervisory board. By order of the local court of Düsseldorf, Brigitte Krönchen, Deputy Chair of the GEA Farm Technologies Works Council, was appointed to the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft as new employee representative.

Klaus Hunger joined the GEA group of companies in 1968 and had been a member of the works council since 1990. After his appointment to the Supervisory Board of the former GEA AG in 2003, he had served on the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft since 2004. In 2006, he also assumed the position of Deputy Chairman of the Group Works Council. Furthermore, Mr. Hunger had served as a member of GEA's Audit Committee since 2011. Brigitte Krönchen joined GEA back in 1979 and assumed the role of Deputy Chair of the Group Works Council in 2014. Ms. Krönchen's appointment by the court will last until the next election of employee representatives scheduled for 2016.
