The Australian Craft Brewers Conference wrapped for another year on the 21st of May in Melbourne.
The conference is the major event on the CBIA calendar and we would like to thank everybody who supported us this year. Without our delegates, sponsors, overseas guests, presenters, beer donators and CBIA staff the ACBC would not be possible. Thank you all.
And a special thank you to our volunteers. Your assistance is appreciated by all.
Here are some of the stand out numbers from the 3rd Australian Craft Brewers Conference.
240 – the number of delegates
40 – the percentage increase of delegate numbers from 2014
30 – the number of presenters across the 2 programme streams
30 – the number of sponsors. Up from 17 in 2014. Only space restrictions stopped that number going higher.
35 – attendees for our new The Art of Selling Craft trade symposium.
The conference had some great media support. You can check out some ABC coveragehereandhere, Australian Brews News wrote about Steve Hindy’s keynotehereand Beer and Brewer covered ithere.
Our aim is to make the Australian Craft Brewers Conference a not to be missed event for the craft brewing industry in Australasia and South East Asia. Each year we endeavour to make the conference better than that of the year before.
