Greece is the partner country of Anuga 2015
Greek exhibitors show their competence and efficiency in the scope of the biggest trade fair for food and beverages
Promoting exports and establishing contacts to German and international trading partners are the focal point of the Greek trade fair participation.
Greece is the partner country of ANUGA 2015. From 10 to 14 October 2015 the Greek exhibitors will not only present the wide variety of Greek food and drinks, but will also impressively demonstrate their competence and efficiency in the international trade and food service sectors. Promoting exports and establishing contacts to German and international trading partners are the focal point of the Greek trade fair participation at Anuga, the world's largest and most important trade fair for food and beverages. With around 270 exhibitors, Greece will once again in 2015 be among the top ten largest foreign participations at Anuga. However, Greece will not only present the famous and traditional specialities that the country is renowned for, but beyond that also high-quality raw materials and partly processed products that are significant for the food industry worldwide. These include olive oil and olives, dairy products such as cheese, feta and yoghurt, drinks such as wine, spirits and water, honey and sandwich spreads, sweets and snacks, dried fruits, spices and herbs, frozen food and organic items. The companies that are represented at Anuga include among others Attiki Bee Culturing Co., Epirus S.A., EZA, Dodoni S.A, Fage Dairy Industrie S.A., Haitoglou Bros., Hellenic Breweries of Atalanti, Jannis S.A., Ioniki Sfoliata S.A., Ifantis S.A., Kallimanis S.A., Kreta Farms S.A., Makedoniki, Oscar Chocolates, Region of Crete, VAENI Naoussa and Yiotis S.A.The central presentation platform of the Greek participation will be located in the Anuga Fine Food section in Hall 10.2 under the direction of Enterprise Greece Invest & Trade. As a sub-organisation of the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Maritime Affairs and Tourism, Enterprise Greece is responsible for the marketing and export of Greek products and services.
In addition to this, Greek companies will be exhibiting individually in other trade fairs, for example at Anuga Organic, Anuga Bread & Bakery, Hot Beverages, at Anuga Frozen Food and Anuga Drinks.
With around 6,800 exhibitors from approx. 100 countries, Anuga 2015 shows a comprehensive international spectrum of products for the trade and out-of-home market and additionally sets important impulses for the worldwide food business. Around 155,000 trade visitors from almost 190 countries are expected to attend the fair.
Anuga is exclusively open to trade visitors from the retail and food service trades from Saturday, 10 October 2015 until Wednesday, 14 October 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on all days.
