Win-Win: Save Big in Pesticide Screening Costs Without Sacrificing Performance
When screening for pesticides in foods, you need to start with generic extraction procedures such as QuEChERS, followed by LC-MS/MS analysis. But while typical LC flow rates in combination with small particle size HPLC columns with high pressures yield excellent results, they require high volumes of expensive HPLC organic solvents such as acetonitrile. In addition, disposal of these solvents can negatively impact the environment.
