Yummy 100% All Natural Chicken Breast Nuggets Recalled Over Metal Pieces

Maxi Canada Inc., a Canadian supplier of processed chicken products, is recalling about 103,752 pounds of chicken nuggets due to potential contamination with metal pieces, alerts the U.S. Department of Agriculture's food safety and Inspection Service. 

Produced in July 2015, the Yummy 100% All Natural brand fully cooked "CHICKEN BREAST NUGGETS", which come in 38-oz (2.975-lb) boxes, were imported to the United States between July 30, 2015 and March 5, 2016. 

The recalled chicken item carries the UPC number 064563225782; BEST IF USED BY date of 07/17/17, and was shipped to retail locations in the United States nationwide and can be found at retailers such as Kroger, Wal-Mart and Safeway. 

Consumers who have purchased the affected products are requested to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase. (dpa)
