Robin Barraclough, former Chief Marketing Officer for the Emmi Group, assumed responsibility for business division Europe on 1 January 2017. Emmi is delighted to welcome Thomas Morf as his successor.
Thomas Morf is a proven specialist with more than 16 years of experience in leading marketing and management positions in the consumer goods industry, the majority of which in dairy at Danone.
He will become the Emmi Group’s Chief Marketing Officer and thus a member of Group Management as of mid-June 2017. He is an international marketing expert and currently working for Danone in South Africa. His career began in 2000 at Procter & Gamble, where he stayed for seven years. Since 2007, Thomas Morf has been employed at Danone. He has worked in Munich, Paris and Johannesburg, in roles that include Global Marketing Director Innovations at Danone’s headquarters in France and Marketing Director Southern Africa. He is currently Managing Director of one of Danone’s three business units in Southern Africa, Mayo Dairy, with 180 employees and an annual production of 17,000 tonnes, or around 70 million cups.
The 42-year-old studied economics, with a focus on international management, at the University of St. Gallen.
