Delivery Hero loses two managers and reduces board

01-Feb-2019 - Germany

Approximately one month after the sale of the German delivery services, two members of the Management Board turn their backs on the food supplier Delivery Hero. The chief strategist Ralf Wenzel and the board member responsible for logistics Eduardo Goes will leave the company at their own request in the first half of 2019, as the group listed in the MDax announced on Thursday in Berlin. As a result, the executive board is to be reduced from nine to seven persons.

Delivery Hero only sold its business in Germany to its competitor Takeaway.com in December for around 930 million euros, and in return is buying into the Dutch company. They already operate the portal Lieferando.de. In the long run, customers will then only be able to order there./mis/zb (dpa)
