Sealed Paper Packaging wins Sustainability Awards 2017
Bosch and BillerudKorsnäs solution for dry foods receives global recognition
Bosch packaging technology and BillerudKorsnäs’ collaboration on Sealed paper packaging has won the 2017 sustainability awards in the Bio-Based Packaging category. The international jury recognized Sealed Paper Packaging specifically for its unique combination of mono-material Axello® paper from BillerudKorsnäs and the ZAP-Module from Bosch Packaging Technology, which together enable the production of 100 percent dust-tight yet fully recyclable packaging for dry products such as sugar, grains and flour. Launched in June 2016, the solution is currently available on vertical form-fill-seal as well as mandrel wheel machines, providing an attractive alternative to the traditional paper bags in this segment.
