Coconut delicacies win Free From Food Awards for the third time in a row
At this year's Free From Food Awards, the prize goes for the third time in a row to the coconut delicacies from London-based manufacturer The Coconut Collaborative. In the milk alternatives category, the special dessert delicacy Chocolate was the winner of the year 2018 and the coconut preparation Nature received the award "highly recommendable". The award ceremony took place this year during the Allergy & Free From Show in London.
Free of gluten, milk, and lactose, the Choco pots convinced the international and independent jury with their wonderfully creamy chocolate taste. "The fact that the small desserts have received the award for the second time in a row underlines the outstanding taste of this delicious product," emphasizes Thomas Wiek, Managing Director of the Uplegger Food Company.
Nature's coconut preparation has also received an award for the second time since 2016.
