This strategic appointment follows the promotion of Herwig Vennekens who headed the HARIBO UK & Ireland team for 10 years before taking the position of Managing Director of the HARIBO Holding responsible for Sales and marketing globally.

During his recent sales director role, Jon worked on the strategic introduction of HARIBO’s new sugar reduced line Fruitilicious, supported the relaunch of Super Mix and the opening of the first HARIBO Shop in London.
Jon studied at London Business School and has worked for leading FMCG businesses including Kimberley Clark Corporation, Heineken UK and Red Bull UK.
A family-owned business, HARIBO has been making much-loved sweets for almost 100-years. Today these treats are shared and enjoyed around the world. Launching into the UK market in 1972, HARIBO operates two manufacturing facilities in West Yorkshire, which are home to more than 700 team members.
