Change in the Group Management of the Oetker Group
After more than 32 years of service to the Oetker Group, Heino Schmidt (62), Chief Representative of Dr. August Oetker KG and member of the Group Management responsible for Finance, Controlling, Legal and Taxes, Other Interests and Banking, will leave the Group Management at his own request on June 30, 2021, and will retire on December 31, 2021. He will continue to serve the Group in an advisory capacity until the end of the year.

Effective June 1, 2021, Ute Gerbaulet (53) will join Dr. August Oetker KG as Chief Representative and take over the duties relinquished by Heino Schmidt. She has worked for German private bank Bankhaus Lampe KG since 2013, becoming a General Partner there in 2017. Ute Gerbaulet can look back on a successful career in the financial sector, most recently as a member of the Executive Management of Bankhaus Lampe, where she has been responsible for Capital Market Business and Corporate Finance. Until the closing of the sale of Bankhaus Lampe KG, she will remain a General Partner there.
The Advisory Board and owners of Dr. August Oetker KG wish to thank Heino Schmidt for his many years of successful service to the Oetker Group. His career with the Group began at its head office in Bielefeld in 1989. For many years, he held various roles at the Hamburg Süd shipping group, for the last 13 years as member of the board. Heino Schmidt is now leaving after four years back in Bielefeld as a member of the Group Management. At the same time, the Advisory Board and owners look forward to close and fruitful cooperation with Ute Gerbaulet and wish her every success in her new role.
