Schenck Process: Refocusing on core business after carve-out of the food division
Digital solutions and sustainable bulk solids processes at the heart
Schenck Process is repositioning itself: Under the leadership of the new CEO Dr Jörg Ulrich, the company is ushering in a new era following the carve-out of the food division. "The business units in Europe, China, and India will benefit greatly from the new size of the company, which has changed from 2,500 to 1,100 employees," says Jörg Ulrich confidently. "We combine our premium products, our bulk solids expertise, our advanced digital solutions, and our global reach with the advantages of a medium-sized company in terms of focus, agility, reliability, high-performing teams, and proximity to our customers."
Regional focus on research and development
Schenck Process is now leveraging its regional strengths and talents even more - especially in research and development in the field of circular economy and green technologies. "Sustainability is becoming the core of our Schenck Process DNA," says Manfred Bruckner, Managing Director Schenck Process Europe GmbH. "Our mission is to develop new sustainable technologies that help our customers achieve the requirements in terms of climate neutrality and process efficiency by 2050. In this context, we see the greatest growth potential in efficient battery feeding, waste to energy, sustainable steel and cement processes, and digital solutions in the area of predictive maintenance and integrated logistics control."
Precision as the key to more sustainable process technologies
99.5% feeding accuracy, 80% less downtime and already 20% energy savings: this is current data that proves the efficiency of Schenck Process' technology and methodology. "For us, sustainability also means striving for efficiency," explains Peter Groll, CTO Schenck Process. "We promise our customers more process accuracy, lower energy consumption, and the use of fewer resources with low downtimes. Our products and applications will be increasingly data-driven, connected, and intelligent to optimise these mission-critical processes."
